Whenever you spend time in your wonderful, green garden at Villa “La Sort den Jaume”, you’ll find yourself surrounded by views of the majestic Tramuntana mountains – the adventurous can look forward to endless ways of resting and rejuvenating in natural surroundings. And the best bit is you don’t even need to leave the estate. The outdoor area isn’t just for children; anyone can enjoy unforgettable moments playing table-tennis or football. If that has you sweating, the large pool with its magnificently refreshing saltwater is just a few steps away. Here you can splash about to your heart’s content, before getting comfortable on one of the sun-loungers. A long table on the covered terrace then has space for everyone while they enjoy delicacies straight off the barbecue. The understated lighting in the outdoor area means you can enjoy the mild island air until the late hours.
Should you wish then to move into the house, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the open fireplace perfect for getting warm and cozy. From the comfort of sofa or armchair you can take advantage of the TV’s satellite connection – the weather report during your stay in southern climes is sure to put a smile on your face. The furniture, with its typically Mallorcan character, adds a little extra and ensures you feel at all times that you’re in one of the best places in the world. The dining table is ideal for delighting in haute cuisine, and the adjoining kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare it. The kitchen itself also has a table, meaning you’ll have plenty of space to share the chopping of the fresh market vegetables you bought. The four homely bedrooms – three of which with a double bed, one with two single beds – all have air-conditioning and share a bathroom, which also has a bathtub for a relaxing end to the day. As the villa also has a safe for your valuables, you needn’t worry about them during the day as you head out exploring.
Unspoilt and wildly romantic nature awaits you in the north. It’s certainly worth packing a good pair of hiking boots. Bathing costumes are recommended too with the sea only 6 km away. Then you’ll find yourself at Port de Pollença, where a sleek yacht harbour offers a real show of sails. In Cala Sant, also 6 km away, the water is especially turquoise, and snorkelers can explore the beautiful undersea world here. A road runs past Villa “La Sort den Jaume” that is sometimes audible. This has the advantage that you can get to the Ma-2200 country road in no time, which will take you to the sights in the north. Sport enthusiasts will find a challenge at the Pollença golf course, only 4 km.
